  • NEW: RaceRoom Racing Experience promoted to full broadcast coverage — RaceRoom races now get the same commentary depth as the other fully-supported sims: leader storylines, battles, lead changes, purple sectors, and field-wide calls, not just focus-car commentary.
  • FIXED: Race Cast now correctly detects and connects to RaceRoom Racing Experience — a leftover configuration issue was causing the app to try the wrong telemetry adapter even when RaceRoom was running and ready, silently blocking commentary. The app now self-repairs this on launch, no manual settings changes needed.
  • FIXED: The sign-off at the end of a race could occasionally borrow a podium celebration line instead of a proper closing line, making the spoken commentary not match what was shown on screen. The booth now keeps podium reactions and sign-offs separate so what you hear always matches what's called.

🏁 Finish Ceremony Pacing & ACC Pause Hold

  • FIXED: The closing ceremony now paces itself to the voices — each call (P1, P2, P3, fastest lap, driver of the day, and the sign-off) waits for the previous line to finish speaking before the next begins, so nothing gets cut off or dropped.
  • FIXED: P3 is always called — third place is no longer skipped in the rush to wrap up.
  • FIXED: Reese now delivers a single podium wrap after all three places are called, instead of chiming in on the checkered flag and after every position.
  • FIXED: Only Marvin closes the show — Marley's outro is now a pure race reflection and Reese sets the trackside scene, so the booth no longer stacks three back-to-back goodbyes.

  • FIXED: ACC GT3 class consolidation — All GT3 cup categories (Pro, Silver, Am, National) are now treated as a single GT3 class, matching what drivers see on the ACC results screen. No more incorrect per-category class winner calls.
  • FIXED: ACC track name timing — The booth now waits for ACC to deliver the track name before speaking the session intro. Eliminates "this circuit" placeholders and "UnknownTrack" log filenames.
  • FIXED: LMU track name timing — Same fix as ACC. Marvin now correctly announces the track name in the session intro.
  • FIXED: ElevenLabs isolation — Fixed a bug where the live ElevenLabs booth provider was active for end users even with voice pack fallback disabled. End users now exclusively use local voice pack audio as intended.
  • FIXED: Silent event coverage — Added category fallback mappings for 10+ event types that previously had no audio (SessionClassWin, SessionOutro, BroadcastLappedTraffic, and more). These events now resolve to appropriate voice pack clips.

Bug Fix: Personal Driver Name Pack Audio Playback

  • Fixed: Clicking 'Test Caller' or 'Test Analyst' on the Personal Driver Name Pack settings panel produced an error: 'Could not play audio: Not a wave file - no riff header'
  • Cause: The server generates name audio clips via ElevenLabs (MP3 output), but the client saved them with a .wav extension — playback assumed WAV format and failed on the missing RIFF header
  • Fix: The app now automatically detects the actual audio format (WAV, MP3, or other) regardless of file extension and plays it correctly
  • Fix: If your configured audio output device becomes unavailable, playback now gracefully falls back to the system default instead of erroring out

  • Fixed: Multiclass finish sequence deadlock — phantom vehicle classes in AMS2 could block the finish sequence indefinitely, preventing race outro, Driver of the Day, and fastest lap calls. Added phantom class fast-skip, 30-second per-event stall timeout, and hard ceiling timeout
  • Fixed: Practice → Race transition silence — AMS2 practice session intro latch was carrying over and blocking the race intro, which gates the entire commentary pipeline. Intro latch now clears on session-type changes
  • Fixed: Practice outro not firing during Practice → Race transitions — AMS2 emits a brief INVALID tick (~62ms) that wiped saved participant data before the outro could use it. Rolling snapshot now preserved across transient ticks

Practice & Qualifying Commentary Improvements

  • Session sign-off is back — Marley now wraps up every practice and qualifying session with a proper outro when the checkered flag waves. Previously, sessions could end silently on LMU, AMS2, ACC, and iRacing.
  • Accurate name callouts — When the booth calls out fastest laps and off-pace drivers during practice or qualifying, the names and positions now match what you see on screen. Fixed a timing issue where shared-memory sims (especially LMU and AMS2) could report stale lap times, causing the wrong driver to be credited.
  • Cross-sim fix — Both improvements apply to all supported sims. The session-end detection and lap-time accuracy are now independent of how each sim updates its internal data.
