Compatibility FAQ

Fast answers about supported sims, full-field coverage, and why some integrations expose more commentary features than others.

Which simulators does Race Cast support?+

Race Cast currently supports Project Motor Racing (PMR), iRacing, Automobilista 2 (AMS2), Le Mans Ultimate (LMU), Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC), RaceRoom Racing Experience (R3E), and rFactor 2 (rF2). Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa EVO are pending certification. Rennsport is planned.

What is full-field commentary?+

Full-field commentary means Race Cast can follow the entire grid instead of just one car, so it can call battles, overtakes, pit strategy, fastest laps, and driver stories across the whole race.

Why do features differ between simulators?+

Features differ because every simulator exposes different telemetry and APIs. Race Cast can only comment on the data a simulator makes available, so some sims support more context than others.

Does Race Cast support ACC?+

Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) is currently supported via UDP Broadcasting protocol (default port 9000). Race Cast reads full field (all drivers) data for this sim.

Does Race Cast support iRacing?+

Yes. iRacing is supported via Shared memory (iRacing SDK) with full field (all drivers) support.

Race Cast is an independent EWSimRacing product. Compatibility depends on each simulator's telemetry availability and may change with simulator updates. Race Cast is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially associated with any simulator developer. Certification status reflects testing against specific simulator and Race Cast versions — updates to either may affect compatibility.
