Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the EWSimRacing website and EWSR Race Cast application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

EWSR Race Cast is a broadcast-style commentary engine for sim racing. The Service includes a free tier (limited to 5 Race Cast sessions) and paid Pro subscriptions managed through Stripe. Voice packs, delta updates, and the app installer are delivered through our website.

3. Accounts

You must create an account (via email/password or Discord) and verify your email address to access downloads and paid features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe at the rate displayed on the pricing page. You may cancel at any time from your account page or via the Stripe customer portal or by contacting support. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.

5. Voice Packs & Downloads

Voice packs are provided for personal use with EWSR Race Cast only. You may not redistribute, resell, or use voice pack audio outside of the Race Cast application. Downloads are tied to your account and tracked for licensing purposes.

6. Free Trial

New accounts receive 5 Race Cast sessions at no cost. A session counts only when Race Cast successfully connects to a supported simulator and delivers commentary during a live race. Failed installations, connection errors, audio tests, and unsupported simulator attempts do not count as sessions. After all trial sessions are used, you may upgrade to a Pro subscription to continue using Race Cast. Your account, settings, and preferences are preserved regardless of subscription status.

7. Device Activation

Your Race Cast license may be activated on a limited number of devices as determined by your subscription plan. You can manage your activated devices from your account page. If you reach your device limit, you must deactivate an existing device before activating a new one.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the Service or any generated content. You may use commentary output in your personal streams, recordings, and YouTube/Twitch content. You may not share your account credentials or circumvent the licensing system.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. EWSR Race Cast is in active development — features may change without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

EWSimRacing LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or our Discord server.
